1. Initial briefing
We start with an in-depth discussion to understand your goals, preferences, and vision for the project. We’ll conduct Site surveys and feasibility studies to help you make an informed decision.
2. Architectural plans
We’ll then plan the bones of your project, getting the layout and flow perfect whilst observing any historical considerations. All necessary regulatory applications such as listed building consent, change of use etc. will be completed.
3. Interior design
Based on our consultation, we’ll develop initial design concepts further into an advanced design that aligns with your vision. We’ll provide mood boards, 3D concepts and specify fixtures, furniture and equipment.
4. Project management
When your build begins we’ll attend regular site visits to ensure quality and adherence to your design and vision, as well as to coordinate with contractors, tradespeople, and suppliers.

What areas do you cover?
Whilst we are based in Shipley, West Yorkshire we cover the whole of the UK and Internationally on occasion. We’re regularly in and around London, Birmingham, Manchester.

Do I need the full package?
Our full package is best if you want your project handled from start to finish. However, if you’re just looking for a singular service such as a design plans or planning applications we can provide these for a fixed fee.
How do your fees work?
Typically, we work on a % of the refurbishment cost for example:
• £50,000 project would equate to a 12% fee (£6,000+ VAT)
• £100,000 project would equate to a 10% fee (£10,000+ VAT)
• £200,000 project would equate to an 8% fee (£16,000+ VAT).
The higher the project cost the lower the percentage.
Fees for one-off services are charged at a fixed rate.

A brand of bars currently operating across four locations in the North of England. JSD have provided full architectural and interior design services on all sites. The idea was to bring the city offer to the suburbs, with all Potting Sheds being located in market towns.
The concept: a botanical garden-themed bar and restaurant with a material palette of reclaimed timbers, exposed brick and stone, earthy tones, and botanical wallpapers. The link between inside and out is a key feature of all Potting Sheds, with rooftop terrace bars and expansive gardens featuring brightly coloured sheds.
Glii
A hypermodern Co-Working concept designed to show the realms of possibility in cohesive interior workspace design.

This co-working concept pulls all of the most on-trend design principles into one project. Along with a neutral base colour scheme, we added pops of on-trend colours with burnt oranges and forest greens. This also complemented living walls, table centrepieces and light fittings.
With a co-working workforce in mind, we also added collaboration areas and multiple coffee points dotted around the floor with a large functioning kitchen area in the centre. Glii is the creative’s choice, a bright space full of life designed to encourage long and productive days.
Finghall development
Finghall housing developments, a touch of Scandi and a splash of the quaint British countryside.

A site that had previous planning consent for 4 new residential units. We were briefed with developing the scheme and increasing the size of the units to provide additional living accommodation and bedrooms.
Smokin’ Bar & Grill
Influenced by early American culture, this day-to-night venue provides a unique design and a bold American in-house bbq restaurant.

Innotech features a relaxed corporate atmosphere with lots of areas for collaborative breakout in the form of meeting rooms, coffee rooms and seating pods designed for 4 or 6 people.
Along with re-designing working common areas, we also redesigned the old tired reception area with brighter and comfier furniture as well as a window breakfast bar.
Canal Club
Taking inspiration from Cuban beach bars, Canal Club sits on the banks of the Leeds – Liverpool Canal in Leeds City Center.

The perfect nighttime venue boasting High-end cocktails, casual fine dining, daytime coffeeshop and sumptuous canal side surroundings make Canal Club one of a kind in Leeds. The venue boasts tropical palms, cool neons, vivid colours & eclectic patterns.
The new venue has undergone an extensive transformation. This day-to-night venue sees customers sit in the cool intimate surroundings of the coffee bar with its walnut wall panels, tropical patterns and relaxed vibes, but as the day progresses, the curtain is drawn back to reveal the full extent of a stylish cocktail bar with vintage teal and burnt orange upholstery, marble effect tables and dimmed lighting for an all-night party atmosphere.
